Agreement for a new sports complex in Limoges!
The Conseil Scolaire de district catholique de l’Est Ontarien (CSDCEO) signed an agreement with The Nation Municipality for the construction of a sports complex and a community centre on the École élémentaire catholique Saint-Viateur’s property in Limoges.
The complex will include a multisport recreation center which will house, among others, a size 2/3 FIFA soccer field, a walking and running track, and a versatile room with a capacity of 150 persons. Both the community and the students of our schools will be able to enjoy this new facility and practice sports all year round. These installations will promote a healthy lifestyle and the development of a sport-school for our children.
“Thank you to the CSDCEO to allow the establishment of this project on their grounds. We are very proud to have concluded this agreement for the establishment of a complex, which will answer our municipality’s recreational needs,” said François St-Amour, mayor of The Nation municipality.
“We are happy to take part in the realisation of such a great community project for the municipality and all the residents of The Nation. The well-being and the success of our students are always at the heart of our decisions, and that is why this agreement is so important for our schools. Our students will be able to benefit from a multisport installation for years to come,” said M. François Turpin, Director of Education and secretary.
