THE NATION, July 19th, 2019 — On Thursday, July 18th, 2019, The Nation Fire Department organized a recognition event to welcome the new recruits, congratulate the firefighters who have completed their NFPA 1001 Training and recognize the firefighters that have completed 5, 10, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service. Mr. Francis Drouin, MP for Glengarry-Prescott-Russell, attended the event and gave certificates of recognition to the firefighters that were celebrating their years of service. Mr. Francis Brière, Ward 4 Councillor and Mr. Danik Forgues, Ward 3 Councillor, also attended the event to thank and congratulate the firefighters for their accomplishments.
