Booking System Tutorial Transcript

0:00 Welcome, Here's a quick step by step guide on how to book a facility online with the Nation Municipality.

0:08 Step one, go to Reservations before you start.

0:12 We recommend creating an account if you don't already have one as it will facilitate the process.

0:18 Click Reservations in the top left corner of the screen or select the Reservations button on the homepage.

0:29 Start by selecting the category that best suits your booking.

0:39 If you already know the facility name, you can also type it directly in the search bar.

0:46 Please note, weddings and parks cannot be booked online.

0:49 Please contact our staff to make a reservation.

0:53 Step Two Select your facility.

0:57 Once you have selected a category, a list of facilities will appear.

1:01 Now select the facility you wish to book, keeping the maximum attendance capacity in mind.

1:08 Step Three Enter the date and time on the Facilities page.

1:12 Review the reservation rules.

1:15 Enter the number of attendees expected at your event.

1:22 Click on the Dates and Time field and select your preferred time slot.

1:27 Only available time slots will be shown on the screen.

1:31 Adjust the time to reflect your events duration and click Apply.

1:35 Include any setup or tier down time required by your group.

1:39 Review your information and click on Proceed.

1:44 Step 4.

1:45 Sign in or create an account.

1:47 If you've made a reservation with the municipality in the past, your account may have been transferred to the Active Net system.

1:54 In this case, please select Forgot your password.

1:57 If this is your first reservation, you will need to create an account.

2:03 After signing in, you will return to the Facilities page.

2:06 Click on Proceed again to continue Step five.

2:09 Complete your reservation details.

2:12 Select who you are reserving for.

2:14 Enter the event name.

2:24 You'll now be asked a few quick questions to help us finalize your booking.

2:35 Click on Facility rental Waiver and Acknowledgement.

2:38 Once you have read the document carefully, click OK Open any additional required attachments.

2:44 Once you have reviewed all documents, check the confirmation box & your name in the signature field.

2:56 Review your details one last time and click Add to Cart Step 6.

3:03 Submit your request.

3:04 No payment is required at this time.

3:07 Once your request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an invoice outlining the outstanding balance along with payment instructions.

3:20 Click on Finish to submit your request.

3:24 You will receive an e-mail confirmation and a staff member will contact you within two business days to finalize the booking.
