A quilt that tells our story from needle to thread.
The four corners of The Nation!
A quilt that tells our story, needle to thread.
An initiative of Councilor Marie-Noëlle Lanthier in October 2018, this beautiful work of art tells the story of the culture and history of the residents of each district of the Municipality. After 15 months and more than 900 hours dedicated by the 32 talented women who worked on the project, the quilt was unveiled on December 14, 2020. This project has united the women of the municipality and created not only a priceless work of art, but also many new friendships and wonderful memories that will be cherished for years to come. For a more detailed description of the quilt and the story the images represent, see the pamphlet below.
The quilt will be displayed :
In September and October 2022 at The Nation Library, St-Albert branch.
In November and December 2022 at The Nation Casselman office, Council Chamber. (958, route 500 W, Casselman).
