Please note that once you register, you will no longer receive your utility bills by mail. 

E-Commerce Platform

Step 1: Go to the Sign In Page 

  1. Open your internet browser.
  2. Go to The Nation Municipality’s E-Commerce Platform.
  3. You’ll see a screen with two options: Sign In on the right and Register on the left.
  4. Click the Register button under the “New to The Nation Municipality, ON eCommerce?” section.

Step 2: Fill in Your Information 

  1. You’ll be taken to a form. Fill it out like this:

    • Email address: Enter your email (you’ll use this to sign in). 
    • Re-enter email address: Type the same email again. 
    • Your First Name and Last Name: Enter your real name. 
    • (or) Your Business Name: You can fill this if it’s for a business instead. 
    • Password: Create a secure password (must be 12 to 64 characters, include: one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. 
    • Re-enter password: Type the same password again. 
    • Check the password strength meter — try to make it green if you can!

  2. Click Continue.
     

Step 3: Validate Your Information 

Once you have registered, you will receive an email from “The Nation Municipality ON eCommerce System” to confirm your registration. The email will include a verification code. 

  1. Follow the link in the email to validate your information.
  2. Enter:
    • Your Email Address 
    • Your Password 
    • The Verification Code from the email

  3. Click Verify Account

Step 4: Sign In 

Once verified, go back to the Sign In page: 

  1. Enter your email address and password
  2. Click Sign In

Language Option 

To view the portal in French, select the French language option before logging in. Once logged in, the entire interface and your account information will appear in French. 

Before You Begin

Step 1: Log Into Your Account 

  1. Go to The Nation Municipality’s E-Commerce Platform.
  2. Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.

Step 2: Go to the Billing Section 

  1. Once logged in, click “View & Pay Bills” in the top menu or dashboard.

Step 3: Add Your Property Tax Account 

  1. Click “Add an Account.”
  2. Choose “Property Tax Bill” from the list.

Step 4: Enter Your Account Information 

  • Account Number (Roll Number): 
    • This is a 19-digit number found on your Property Tax bill. 
    • Look in the grey box at the top of the bill. 
    • Type it in without any hyphens. 
  • PIN (Personal Identification Number): 
    • A 9-digit number like 123456789 (shown as 12345-6789 on your bill). 
    • You’ll find it on both pages of your bill, under the legal description (top-right corner). 
    • If two owners are listed, each will have a different PIN.

  2. Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.

Step 2: Go to the Billing Section 

  1. Once logged in, click “View & Pay Bills” in the top menu or dashboard.

Step 3: Add Your Utility Bill Account 

  1. Click “Add an Account.”
  2. Choose “Utility Bill / Service public” from the list.

Step 4: Enter Your Account Information 

  • Utility Billing Account Number: 
    • this 5 digit number can be found on the left side of your previous utility bill. 
  • PIN (Personal Identification Number): 
    • this 5 digit number can be found on the left side under The Nation Municipality’s return address.
