Each year, the Municipality conducts its biannual fire hydrant flushing in the villages of St-Isidore and Limoges. This essential maintenance helps clean the watermains and ensures the hydrants function properly.
Schedule:
April 14 to May 2
8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
During this period, operators from The Nation Municipality’s Water Department will flush hydrants throughout the community. This process may temporarily lower water pressure and cause discolored water due to stirred-up sediment. If your water appears discolored, we recommend running your tap for 5 to 10 minutes before using it for drinking or cooking.
The Water Department will monitor water quality throughout the flushing process to ensure it remains safe to drink. We appreciate your understanding, as this is a vital part of maintaining our water system.
Please note: Due to ongoing operational work, we cannot provide exact flushing times for specific streets.
