The Nation Municipality has lifted the Preventive Water Boil Advisory that was in effect for residents served by the Limoges Water System.
This advisory was issued following a technical issue that occurred during the commissioning phase of the new booster pumps. This issue caused a temporary drop in water pressure below 20 psi, the minimum required under provincial regulations.
Municipal staff have completed system flushing and conducted bacteriological water sampling in accordance with regulatory requirements. All results confirm that the water meets provincial drinking water quality standards and is safe for normal use.
Residents may now use tap water for all purposes. The Municipality thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation during this precautionary advisory.
