Notice of a Complete Application and of a Public Meeting Concerning a Minor Variance

LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Pt. Lot 20, Conc. 9, Caledonia (2051 St-Isidore Rd.)

PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: reduce the minimum distance separation between a new poultry barn and a side lot line from 99 feet to 88 feet, a front lot line from 198 feet to 140 feet and from the neighbouring houses at 2151 St-Isidore Road from 1112 feet to 836 feet and a new dry manure shed and a neighbouring house at 1990 St-Isidore Road from 1112 feet to 1059 feet as stipulated in provision 5.16.3.2 of Zoning By-law 2-2006.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Committee of Adjustment for The Nation Municipality will hold a Public Hearing at The Nation Town Hall, 958 Road 500 West, Casselman, on Monday, the 28th day of October, 2024 at 3:30 pm to hear the above application as required by Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

YOU ARE ENTITLED TO ATTEND this hearing in person to express your views about the application or you may give written authorization to a solicitor or other person to attend on your behalf. If you are unable to attend, you may submit written comments on the application to the Secretary-Treasurer of the committee prior to the date and time of the hearing. Please use the address shown below.

IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND this hearing, it may proceed in your absence and, except as otherwise provided in The Planning Act, you will not be entitled to any further notice in the proceedings.

A COPY OF THE DECISION of the committee will be sent to the applicant AND to each person who appeared in person, or was represented at the hearing, who filed with the Secretary-Treasurer a written request to receive the decision.
