The minor variance proposes to reduce the front yard setback from 10 metres to 1 metre as stipulated in provision 5.9.2.3 of Zoning By-law 2-2006, following a future road widening.

The public meeting will be live streamed on our YouTube Channel “The Nation Municipality / La municipalité de La Nation”.

Please confirm your presence virtually, to Mrs Julie Langlois-Caisse, by email at jlanglois-caisse@nationmun.ca or by calling 613-764-5444, extension 242. Please indicate the full names and addresses of the people who will attend.

It is possible to submit a question or comment during the live stream via the live chat on YouTube.

Any person may also make written representations by mail or email to the Municipality either in support of or in opposition to the minor variance before 10 am on August 1st, 2023. Please indicate the file number.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the Public Meeting or make written submissions to Committee before the application is approved, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

If applicable this notice shall be posted by the owner of any land that contains seven or more residential units in a location that is visible to all the residents.
