The Nation's Golden Connections

“The Nation’s Golden Connections” is our brand-new program designed to enrich the lives of adults aged 55 and over by offering opportunities to gather, stay active, and connect within their community. With financial support from the Government of Ontario through the Seniors Active Living Centres (SALC) Program, we offer a variety of programming focused on health, well-being, and social engagement.

Programming

Planned activities include:

  • Exercise sessions
  • Group walks
  • Line dancing
  • Board games
  • Darts, bean bags, and bowling
  • Guest speakers
  • Pickleball
  • Public skating …and much more!

What is the Seniors Active Living Centres (SALC) Program?

It is an initiative from the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility that supports over 400 centres across Ontario. The program aims to promote the health, well-being, and independence of adults aged 55 and over, while encouraging social inclusion and an active lifestyle.
