Digital Prescott-Russell

With the help of the staff of Our Ontario (Knowledge Ontario) and financial support from the Ontario Ministry of Culture and Tourism through the Southern Ontario Library Service (SOLS), the public libraries of Prescott-Russell have launched a project to digitize historical documents (photographs, postcards, texts, etc.) that illustrate the history, heritage, and culture of the Prescott-Russell region.

Wanted: Old Photographs

The Library is currently looking for old photos (before 1950) taken in the Prescott-Russell area as part of the first phase of its Prescott-Russell digital images project. If you are in possession of some material that might be of interest, please contact us. We will not keep your photos but will digitize and index them to make them available on the web.
