A free Library Card is available to all individuals, including both residents and non-residents of The Nation Municipality.
Children: Kids of any age can have their own card. A parent or guardian must sign for children under 16 and is responsible for borrowed materials and any fees.
Organizations & Businesses: Public organizations, community groups, associations, and businesses located in The Nation Municipality may also obtain a free card. A duly appointed representative must complete and sign the registration form.
A library card is valid for two years and gives full access to services and materials at all three library branches. Patrons must present their card at the circulation desk when borrowing materials.

Request a Library CardNotify the library promptly if your name, address, phone number, or email changes. Update your information with a short form at any branch. Identification and proof of residence are required. Each household member receives their own card.
Members are responsible for all transactions on their card. If your card is ever lost or stolen, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help protect your account. You can request a replacement card for a small fee (see service fees below).
The Nation Public Library is proud to offer a fine-free borrowing experience. While no late fees are charged on overdue items, we encourage patrons to return materials on time so others can enjoy them as well.
Please note that borrowing privileges may be limited and/or suspended if items are consistently returned past their due date.
